Fatal Crash on Highway 69 Near Britt Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

In the early hours of Monday, May 26, 2025, there was a terrible single-vehicle crash on Highway 69 near Britt, Ontario. The accident cost the life of a 65-year-old man who lived in Greater Sudbury and three other people were taken to the hospital with some injuries.

According to information from the OPP, the crash took place around 12:30 a.m. The car going south left the road, hit a rocky cliff and rolled over. Authorities arrived right away, but no matter what they did, the senior passenger was declared dead at the scene. The driver and two passengers were hurt and drove to a nearby hospital for treatment.
