Tragic Incident in Larch Park: Teenager Killed, Two Arrested

A teenager was killed and two others were arrested after a violent incident in Larch Park in Abbotsford. The APD responded to an incident of a park stabbing close to Sumas Way along Beck Road on Sunday.
After reaching the scene, police discovered a young man with stab injuries. No matter how rapidly medical help arrived, the teenager did not recover and died. Authorities have taken two other teenagers into custody after arresting them at the scene.
โOur thoughts are with the victim’s family during this incredibly difficult time,โ said Sgt. Paul Walker of the Abbotsford Police Department.
Ongoing Investigation
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken over the case, working closely with local authorities to determine the circumstances leading up to the fatal incident. Investigators are appealing to the public for any information or video footage that may assist in the investigation.
